HI
Using the Command prompt of Windows 7 SP1, how do I set "Restore system settings and previous versions of files" option for the creation of its restore points?
THANKS

My answer is not direct one. In cases like this one I usualy try to catch registry (export) before and after the change of setting and then I do the file difference to recover the needed change. Take it like experiment and test it on non production installation.

Is this what you mean?

Start System Restore from a command prompt
You can start System Restore from a command prompt window if you can't start your computer in any mode other than safe mode with command prompt.
Start your computer in safe mode with command prompt. For more information, see
Start your computer in safe mode.
At the command prompt, type rstrui.exe, and then press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an
administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

This command starts
the restore function of the system,
and I only wanted to enable a partition to
its restoration, set the option mentioned above and
its percentage of space that can be used
for this function. So, how can I
fix this?

Hi,
After research, I found that this may not be configured by command line. Juke Chou
